So I’ve been having quite a few down days recently due to good old life and it’s stresses. I thought I would google “5 ways to be happier” and see what it came up with. I’ve picked a few from different sites and put my own spin on them to kind of remind my self to be happy. ❤
5 THNGS THAT WILL MAKE YOU HAPPIER.
1. Be grateful :
I don’t always appreciate what I have, when I feel down it’s like I have nothing in life and everything is hopeless.
A few things I have to be grateful for :
-FAMILY (including my fur babies)
2. Be optimistic :
This is the hardest thing for me to ever do I am such a negative person but I am trying to change that (really I ammmm) I’ve realised when I am down on things I make them worse than they have to be. I’m not one of those people that can just think “It will all be okay in the end” but I wish I was and I will be one day 🙂
ALWAYS HAVE A DREAM.
Set your self goals just small ones, I set one – To finally start a blog …. And I DID !!!
3. Count your blessings :
Apparently researches have shown that people who write down 3 good things that have happened to them every week show boost in happiness.
Here are my 3 for last week:
– New candles
-Learnt more about blogging
4. Use your strengths :
Do what you are good at, find something you are good at, stick at it and it will take you where you want to go.
5. DON’T forget to laugh :
Laughing is the biggest remedy for basically anything, on the down days maybe it is hard to find something to laugh about at least I think it is. I think the most important thing is to be around people that make you laugh. A good few years ago I got into the trap/cycle of been with someone that put me down, made me depressed, cheated, abusive it took me another year to find the person I once was. Here are a few things I do:
– Cuddle my cats
– Watch funny videos
– Candles, films, duvet days
